Ezekiel 40-44 -

In the 25th year of our exile, beginning of the year on the 10th of the month, 14 yrs after the city fell, God touched me & brought me in divine vision to the land of Israel & set me down on a high mountain...then took me to the Temple to provide me with its meaning and ordinances for conduct at the altar..

“Son of man, get a grip on yourself.  Use your eyes, use your ears, pay careful attention to everything I tell you about the ordinances of this Temple of God, the way all the laws work, instructions regarding it and all the entrances and exits of the Sanctuary.  But the Levitical priests who descend from Zadok, who faithfully took care of my Sanctuary when everyone else went off and left me are going to come into my presence and serve me....

Acts 20:17 - 20:38
Every truth and encouragement that could have made a difference to you, you got.  I taught you out in public and I taught you in your homes, urging Jews and Greeks alike to a radical life-change before God and an equally radical trust in our Master Jesus...

I feel compelled to go to Jerusalem... where there will be hard times and imprisonment ahead...What matters most to me is to finish what God started: the job the Master Jesus gave me of letting everyone I meet know about this incredibly extravagant generosity of God...

Now its up to you.  Be on your toes - both for yourselves and your congregation of sheep.  The Holy Spirit has put you in charge of these people - God’s people they are to guard and protect them.  God himself thought they were worth dying for.....

In everything I’ve done, I have demonstrated to you how necessary it is to work on behalf of the weak and not exploit them... as your Master said, You’re far happier giving than receiving.
