WRC’s Children’s Ministries are about building a spiritual community that embraces individuality and encourages growth in faith. We strive to provide safe, positive environment for kids to have fun while learning God’s plan for their lives. It is our mission to open the hearts of our kids so they know God and grow to become like his Son, Jesus Christ.
We know that the greatest impact on the heart of a child happens when the family and the church partner together. For this reason, our focus is on creating a Christian Community of children and adults who enjoy life together as a family and who are committed to Jesus Christ and to each other.
We have Children's Ministry programs available for children, newborns through 8th grade on Sunday mornings as well as special family events throughout the year.

In the nursery, children are introduced to the joyful worship of God using the Young Children and Worship curriculum.
Young Children and Worship was created to make a special place where children can come to encounter God; to be still with God and to listen to God. This program invites the youngest members of our congregation to begin experiencing the wonder and mystery of God.
In order to provide the safest environment for the youngest children of our church, the Nursery is staffed weekly with two adult attendants and parents are required to sign children in and sign out each week.
Pre-K to Grade 8
Older children begin the morning worshiping with their parents. After worshiping with parents for approximately 15 minutes, they are dismissed to their Sunday School classes. Their teachers will meet them in the sanctuary narthex and escort them to their classroom.
Following Sunday School, the children Parents are required to sign their children out. Older children are dismissed from their classrooms.
Our Sunday school curricula follows the same set of scripture passages that we are exploring in the sermon each week. This way everyone in the family is learning from the same passages and are able to discuss and follow up together as well!
